2019 BCE Kicks-off

 

 

During the first week of March CESA’s School of Consulting Engineering (SCE) welcomed the Business of Consulting Engineering (BCE) Development Programme class of 2019. Now in its 8th year, this programme prepares young professional engineers and technologists to deal with all aspects of the complex and competitive world of commercial business.

The BCE Development Programme has a proven track record and covers the following subjects: Construction Project Delivery Process; Consulting Engineering Environment; Business and Project Finance; Legal and Contractual Matters; and Inter-personal Skills.

The Programme was initially developed over a period of 18 months and is continuously updated by a team of industry leaders with expert knowledge in line with industry trends. These specialist education consultants ensure that the BCE is relevant and of the highest standard. These 20 Subject Matter Experts (SME) present throughout the year and have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of their subject. Each SME provides invaluable insight and a unique perspective, which the students might never get exposed to in the workplace.

Aimed at graduate engineers and technologists, the BCE Development Programme is also suitable for other appropriately experienced technical staff and for the more senior engineering personnel employed in a consulting engineering firm. The BCE Development Programme is an ideal platform for engineers and technologists who have the potential and desire to rise up to a more senior levels of management and responsibility in their firm.

The BCE Development Programme is an exclusive programme that only accommodate a maximum of 25 student per class ensuring that students receives individual attention, is able to participate and ask more questions and receive one-on-one feedback.
