Protecting lives and livelihoods – safe drinking water

The CESA Protecting Lives and Livelihoods campaign is aimed at educating the general public on the impact that consulting engineers have on their daily lives. The campaign aimed at the public started in June and is continuing on radio and via social media during July and into August.

The absence of technical expertise in the procurement of infrastructure is starting to have an increasingly adverse effect on the quality and sustainability of our country’s infrastructure. CESA represents over 600 South African Consulting Engineering Firms employing more than 21 000 people and believes that we need to be building quality and sustainable infrastructure that stands the test of time keeping the health and safety of our population as the critical success factor and not placing them at risk.

The latest radio advert live on Metro FM 96.4 from Monday 5th July and will be run again in August. We encourage you to visit our campaign landing page on our website to see our new Water Animation that is also going live on all our digital platforms.

Safe drinking #water is a right for every South African. Consulting Engineers are the professionals responsible for designing the #infrastructure enabling the delivery of water to communities, thereby protecting your lives and livelihoods.
