CESA Youth Best Practice Seminars: Leadership and Management<\/h1>\n

The aim of the event<\/h2>\n

This series of seminars, initiated by CESA in 2019, is aimed specifically at closing skills gaps in the engineering environment through empowering our youth. Underlying the reach for the seminars is the philosophy that sharing of unique experiences by senior consulting engineers will result in more informed young professionals who will make informed choices, either to grow within the firm of their employment or to start their own consulting engineering firm.<\/p>\n

Three broad topics have been identified as follows, within the seminars to enable different leaders \/ speakers to relate their own life stories and expertise coupled with best practices and volunteerism:<\/p>\n

  1. Engineering, Business and Entrepreneurship<\/li>\n
  2. Engineering and Career Options<\/li>\n
  3. the Young Professionals Forum (YPF)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    It is in the spirit of the NDP Vision 2030\u2019s theme \u2018Our future – make it work\u2019, that we are inviting Senior Consulting Engineers to invest in our youth and the development of SA\u2019s consulting engineering skills that are critical to elimination of poverty, reduction of inequality, creation of jobs and improvement of livelihoods and economic growth.<\/p>\n
