I am proud to say that the consulting engineering

industry has not been party to this collusive behaviour
and the awareness brought about by our theme in 2012
of CESA Engineers Unquestionably Ethical followed
by the 2013 theme of Sustainability is Everyones
Business has paid off...

together with the incoming President, Abe Thela will do a great job in taking CESA to new heights. I would also
like to acknowledge the good work done by Graham Pirie as CEO of CESA for the past 17 years and wish him
a well-earned retirement. I also thank the Board and Council for supporting me in our quest to make our voice
heard.

As I bid you farewell as President of CESA, I would like to leave you with this one question: “Are you fit to lead
your organisation …… today, tomorrow and in the future, to make our world a precious place for us all and the
generations to come?”
