CESAs Consultants Relay 2013

Record Par ticipation!

This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for member firms to engage in some physical exercise, meet
and mingle with other firms and enjoy a fun family day. As part of a joint initiative with the YPF, this year
R21 650 was raised by the event and once again accepted by Gail Johnson, Founding Director of Nkosi’s
Haven.

This year the relay attracted 144 competitive teams consisting of 933 participants and about 288 recreational
teams with 1656 participants. Last year 378 teams participated and this year the number increased
to 432. 37 university teams consisting of 253 participants from the University of Pretoria, University of
Johannesburg and Tshwane University of Technology participated in the event compared to 30 university
teams last year.

Thank you to member firms, universities and sponsors for making this year’s event a resounding success.
Sponsors included Rennies and Brooke Pattrick. University sponsorship was provided by Jones and
Wagner and Royal HaskoningDHV.

CESA extends its sincere thanks to Royal HaskoningDHV, as their tenure as hosts and sponsors of the
event comes to an end. They have successfully hosted the CESA Relay for the past seven years, under
the expert guidance of Bill Jones and the Relay Committee members.
