Planning Feasibility Studies: An Engineer's Perspective for Beginners

Overview

With rapid changes in technology and increasing complexity, strong multi-disciplinary planning skills are required for today’s engineering professionals. This course will infuse strategic planning, and market understanding in an engineer’s practice to enable one to work beyond the regular call of specialised engineering practice, and progress to working on masterplans, feasibility studies, due diligence and fatal flaw analysis.

This CPD course is geared towards emerging professionals with up to five years of professional experience.

    • Plan, prepare and analyse segments of a due diligence / feasibility and or tariff study.
    • Identify crucial arguments and effectively explore the various assumptions.
    • Present ideas in a simple, effective, convincing and objective manner. 
    • Contribute towards a feasibility study financial model using various tools, such as Open and Microsoft Excel.
    • Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to improve plans and projections.
