Managing with Intent: Strategy and Execution

Overview

Being able to manage effectively requires that managers formulate an appropriate strategy for their unit or company, communicate it, and maintain it as the guiding principle for all staff.
All too often the strategy is formulated, tabled and never referred to again. Strategy will not happen on its own, it never does. Strategy only becomes a reality when it is pursued continuously. But how do you execute the strategy if you also have a full day’s work to do?!
The answer is that your job is working towards the realisation of the strategy and doing anything else is a waste of your time and effort. This course is designed to show you how this works and how to see that you and your team can make it work.

Why Should an Individual Attend?

In this course, participants will learn a proven strategic model that addresses today’s political, economic, social, technological, environmental, and legal realities. Designed for a volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) world, this model goes beyond theory.
