Run your Project as a Business

Overview

How to transform and manage your projects in a commercially viable manner. In this course, we look at how aspects other than technical expertise can make or break a project. This workshop is designed for project engineering professionals with a maximum of seven years of experience

Why Should an Individual Attend?

In the built and engineering space, we get caught in the technical aspects of a project, scope and workbreakdown structure while commercial, risk, financial matters, performance management, and contractual aspects may take a back seat. In business the commercial aspects, financial matters, risks, performance management and contractual obligations are at the forefront and critical to meet requirements and remain sustainable. The same applies on a project. A successful and profitable project requires managing and executing these aspects meticulously, which then build towards a programme, a portfolio and thus a business.

This workshop will highlight such matters and ingrain this mindset in our project management approach.
