Overview

The course provides in-depth training on the procurement, administration, and management of FIDIC forms of contract. It covers the roles and responsibilities of the parties, as well as, those of the Engineer, payment provisions, the submission of programs, taking-over and dealing with defects, variations, claims, termination, and disputes.

 

Why Should an Individual Attend?

  • The use of the 2nd (2017) editions of FIDIC is increasing and may become unavoidable when international funding for a project is required.
  • There are vast changes and differences between the 1999 and 2017 editions of FIDIC, especially when it comes to the role and function of the Engineer and/or that of the Employer’s Representative.
  • Many new or different procedures applicable to the management and administration of FIDIC contracts have also been introduced.
  • This course will easy facilitate a seamless move over to the use of the new 2017 editions of FIDIC.
