


Every student must:
- Delegates applying to attend the BCE Development Programme need to ensure permission from their organisation is granted before applying.
- Have a dedicated Workplace Mentor. This can be the student’s supervisor or boss and in the case of an own business, another Consulting Engineer (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) from another CESA member firm).
- Attend weekly Contact classes via Zoom, consisting of two or three lectures.
- Complete two or three assignments each week. Write a final exam at the end of the year.
- Pay all registration fees before the programme starts (no exceptions).
Application Process
Complete the online application form
Upload and submit the following Student’s documentation:
- A certified copy of the student’s: (not older than 3 months):
- ID
- Highest Qualification
- A brief CV
- An automatic acknowledgement will be emailed to the learner confirming that the School of Consulting Engineering (SCE) has received the learner’s application. If the learner does not receive this acknowledgement, please contact:

Email: melissa@cesa.co.za - Once the learner’s application has been checked and approved by CESA, the learner will be emailed a confirmation letter and a ‘Student Agreement’ which must be signed by the following:
- Student
- Student’s Workplace
- Mentor Student’s Company CEO / MD
- The signed ‘Student Agreement’ must be returned to Melissa Jardine, Project Administrator: CESA School of Consulting Engineering within 7 working days of receiving the agreement.
An invoice with the bank account details will be send to you with your acceptance letter onto the programme. Should you not receive this invoice, please contact Athrometh on athromethm@cesa.co.za or 011 463-2022
Payment – Terms & Conditions
- Payment in full and proof of payment must be sent to Athrometh on athromethm@cesa.co.za within 30 days of invoice date and no student will be allowed to attend the programme unless full payment is received.
- Payment terms can be arranged, however, an additional 10% will be charged.
- A 10% administration fee is payable if you cancel less than 14 working days prior to the start of the module, even if we have not received payment, however, a substitute can be made up to 24 hours prior to the start of the programme.
- In order to secure your place, advance booking is essential.
- If you fail to attend the module you will be liable for the 100% registration fee.
- CESA reserves the right to change the programme and the method of training.
- If no e-mail confirmation is received, please call to confirm.
- No booking will be considered confirmed until proof of payment has been received.
A final confirmation will be send to you 7 days before the first contact session with all the relevant details.
