Congratulations to Avuyile Mayekiso – newly elected secretary of our CESA YPF National Committee. He is a Civil Engineering Technologist at ROMH Consulting. He has a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Urban Engineering from the Nelson Mandela University. Avuyile has also completed a NQF 7 in Developing and Promoting Labour Intensive Construction Strategies, as well as a NQF 3 in Occupational Health and Safety. Read More

Academically, he has a Masters in Engineering Management and holds a B-Tech and National Diploma in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineering Technologist (ECSA) and Professional Construction Project Manager (SACPCMP) with over a decade of experience delivering complex infrastructure across water, civil, energy, mining and building sectors. Congratulations to Uzair Osman – the now Immediate Past Chair of our CESA YPF National Committee. Uzair is a proud South African engineer who hails from the small town of Estcourt but is based in Durban. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSc Civil) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2013. He continued to attain his Masters in Engineering (MSc Eng) in 2014. His MSc Eng dissertation topic was based on the treatment of landfill leachate using vegetable and garden refuse. Read More
