Our CESA Young Professionals Forum (YPF) continues to create opportunities for young engineers to connect, develop professionally and make a meaningful impact in their communities. From networking on the padel court and mentoring future engineers to supporting learners through a Mandela Day initiative, there are plenty of ways to get involved. 

University of Pretoria Speed Mentoring Session 

Calling all engineering and built environment students, as well as industry professionals passionate about shaping the next generation of leaders.

This initiative provides a valuable platform for students to engage with experienced professionals, gain career insights, expand their networks, and learn from those who have successfully navigated the engineering and built environment sectors.

Join our CESA YPF KwaZulu-Natal Padel Tournament! 

Get ready for an afternoon of networking, friendly competition and fun as the CESA Young Professionals Forum (YPF) KwaZulu-Natal takes to the court on 3 July 2026 at the Padel Africa, La Lucia Mall, uMhlanga. 

Whether you’re a seasoned player or trying padel for the first time, this is a great opportunity to connect with industry peers while enjoying one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. 

As part of the event, attendees are encouraged to support our Mandela Day Calculator Drive for Grade 9 learners by donating a CASIO FX82ZA Plus II Scientific Calculator (Black, Blue or Pink). Collections will take place at a dedicated area at the tournament.

One Calculator Can Change a Learner’s Future 

Our Young Professionals Forum (YPF) in KwaZulu-Natal is proud to launch its Calculator Drive, commemorating Mandela Day and aimed at helping learners access one of the most important tools for success in Mathematics and Science. 

We are calling on engineering firms, industry partners and individuals to support this initiative by donating CASIO FX82ZA Plus II Scientific Calculators in black, blue or pink. A simple donation can help equip a learner with the tools they need to excel in their studies and unlock future opportunities. 

Drop-off Point: Bosch Holdings Office, 23A Flanders Drive, Mount Edgecombe 

CESA member firms are also encouraged to host collection boxes at their offices, with bulk collections from their offices to be arranged by the YPF KZN committee.
