14th CESA YP Sustainability Imbizo brings young professionals together

On 19 and 20 August, we hosted the 14th CESA Young Professionals Sustainability Imbizo, bringing together young professionals and industry leaders for two days of discussion, knowledge sharing and engagement around the future of engineering.

Day one explored themes including ethical construction, climate-resilient infrastructure and sustainability, creating a platform for young professionals to ask challenging questions, exchange perspectives and consider practical approaches to the challenges facing the industry.

The second day expanded the conversation to leadership, mentorship, transformation, innovation and infrastructure delivery. Young professionals and industry leaders shared experiences, challenged existing ways of thinking and explored practical approaches to building a more resilient Africa.

The Imbizo provided an important platform for our young professionals to connect with industry leaders, share experiences and engage with the issues that will shape the future of engineering. The discussions reinforced the importance of developing strong leadership, supporting transformation, embracing innovation and delivering infrastructure that contributes to a more resilient and sustainable future.

We extend our sincere thanks to all our speakers, facilitators and attendees for contributing to two days of meaningful discussion, learning and professional engagement.
