Many of the complaints were contractual disputes and complainants were encouraged to follow the mediation
route using the CESA list of mediators, adjudicators and arbitrators listed on the CESA website. Of the cases
carried over from the previous year: two were resolved amicably through consultative meetings between
the parties, arranged by CESA; another was resolved by Council confirming the termination of membership;
another is dormant pending further correspondence from the complainant; others are the subject of continuing
investigations and deliberations by ECSA; and the case which was the subject of a PAIA (Protection of Access
to Information Act) enquiry for documentation seems to have been finally accepted by the Complainant.
