The basic objective of the training programme is to equip engineers and technologists working in consulting engineering firms, with the non-technical skills which are generally not taught as part of the traditional curriculum at tertiary engineering institutions.
It is aimed at engineers and technologists who have the potential to rise rapidly towards senior levels of management and responsibility in their firms and bring with them the skills and capability required at such levels.
The BCE course has now been completed successfully each year for the last 3 years and to date almost 40 students have graduated.
