As you are aware by now, the COVID-19 Coronavirus has officially been deemed a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation. Drastic but necessary measures have been put in place by government and businesses globally as well as locally to prevent the spread of the virus.
Under the prevailing circumstances, it is important that we take all the necessary precautions in order to ensure the safety of our families, staff and members. Our people are our most precious assets and in supporting the call by President Ramaphosa, CESA has taken the decision to postpone all events and in-person meetings for the foreseeable future. We will re-evaluate this decision during April 2020 with the hopes of resuming activities.

- CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards
- Gauteng Presidential Golf Challenge
Although our offices will be closed as from the 24th March 2020 our staff will be working remotely and we will continue to support our members and stakeholders during this time.
During these challenging times, we would like to assure you that Consulting Engineers South Africa continues to stand by our mission statement of our commitment to the promotion of excellence in the consulting engineering industry on behalf of our members and stakeholders. Through our members, CESA seeks to continuously improve the quality of life of people by interpreting the environment and pioneering change in partnering with all key stakeholders. In so doing, CESA strives to enhance the industry and provide a credible impact on all South Africans.
This mission statement continues to guide us as we navigate these unprecedented circumstances and make decisions that speak to the well-being of our members and their business operations, as well as of our employees and of society at large.
In conclusion, CESA’s primary focus during this time is health and safety, playing an active role in society as a responsible organization, enabling the business continuity of our member firms’ operations, and being your ‘Partner in Enabling Consulting Engineering Excellence’.
