CESA’s Responds to Cabinet Reshuffle – Collaboration is Key!

7 March 2023 In commenting on the Cabinet Reshuffle by President Cyril Ramaphosa, Chris Campbell, CEO of Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) states, “Our new Minister of Electricity, Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, needs to seize the opportunity for collaboration with the private sector for funding and with our member companies who have the technical knowledge and capability to deliver results with the speed that our country so desperately needs in order for economic growth”.

While Campbell acknowledges that with the interim cabinet reshuffle we are unlikely to see much of a difference in the short term, he looks forward to the President delivering on his promise of improved infrastructure delivery in the next 2 years post the ‘real’ cabinet being announced.

CESA and it’s close to 600 member companies, employing 17000 people remain ready and available to partner with government. Campbell concludes, “We are here to support particularly the younger cadre of Deputy Ministers that have been appointed, we look forward to being of service to our country”.
