CESA KZN YPF Pause and Paint session

In honour of Women’s Day 2023, The CESA KZN YPF hosted a Pause and Paint event that aimed to inspire participants through the therapeutic power of art. This unique gathering, generously sponsored by Bosch Holdings (Pty) Ltd. and Talbot, provided an opportunity for attendees to take a pause from their daily routines and immerse themselves in a creative and nurturing environment. The event took place on Saturday, the 12th of August 2023, and was held at La Muse, Pebble Beach. Guided by a professional instructor, the attendees were taken on a journey of self-expression and exploration.

Furthermore, the CESA KZN YPF embarked on a mission to make a difference in the lives of young girls in need. We are thrilled to share the success of our Sanitary Pad Drive! With the incredible support and generosity of our members, partners, and the community, we collected a substantial number of sanitary pads. These pads will be a source of comfort, dignity, and empowerment for young girls in impoverished communities.

We are delighted to announce that the donated sanitary pads have been distributed to not one, but two remarkable non-profit organisations – the Sai Centre in Merebank and Rhythm of Grace NPO. These organisations are doing incredible work to uplift and support those in need, and we are proud to be able to contribute to their initiatives.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, artists, and speakers who made this event and drive a resounding success!

CESA YPF Eastern Cape Branch hosts successful Women’s Month Brunch

The CESA YPF Eastern Cape Branch recently hosted a successful Women’s Month Brunch with the theme ‘Being Inspired to Be Inspired.’ The event was a platform for sharing inspiring personal stories. Our guest speakers, Oratile Ratsweunyana and Laverne Van Wyk, led us through their challenging life journeys, symbolizing guidance and unity.

#CESA #WomenInEngineering #Inspiration.

We all have our own journeys in life, remember to light up someone else’s path and sibambane (hold hands). A special thank you to Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha ABSA Private Wealth Banking. A heart felt gratitude to our guest speakers for taking their off to share their stories. And to the attendees that light up the event with their interaction and presence.
