CESA DBSA Orientation Briefing
On Thursday, 28 November, in collaboration with the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA), we hosted the CESA DBSA Orientation Briefing. The main objective of the virtual session was to enable an informative session for our members regarding the DBSA and information on the potential opportunities for members. Facilitated by our Advocacy Committee member Kribbs Moodley, the event was themed ‘Understanding Your Infrastructure Value Chain’. The DBSA was represented by Luyanda Matlala and Don Pitsoe. Practice Notes Webinar: Best Practice Integrated Management System and CESA requirements
The final 2023 CESA Practice Notes webinar, held on 29 November, featured yet another action-packed programme with knowledgeable presenters discussing: ‘Best Practice – Integrated Management System and CESA requirements’. Our Contractual Affairs Manager, Wally Mayne kicked proceedings off by delivering the opening remarks, welcoming the attendees joining virtually and introducing presenters. Dianne Liebenberg presented ‘Practice Note 102 – Implementing an integrated management system in small member firms’. Charl Cilliers presented the ‘Alignment of CESA requirements (MSDs) with the integrated management system in Practice Note 102’. CESA Town Hall Webinar on CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards
On Thursday, 24 November, we hosted the inaugural CESA Town Hall Webinar which focused on the CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards. The webinar focused on ‘How to submit a successful award entry’, and featured CESA’s MANCO, who discussed the awards process. Our CEO, Chris Campbell, provided the opening remarks, followed by an explanation on the entry submissions and timelines by our Marketing and Communications Manager, Bonolo Nkgodi.
