CESA Youth Best Practice Webinar on Leadership and Management

In celebration of Youth Month, in June, we hosted the CESA Youth Best Practice Webinar on Leadership and Management on 19 June. Facilitated by Saiuree Ramnarain, Electrical Engineer (Associate) at Bigen Group and CESA Young Engineer of the Year was very informative.

Our CEO, Christopher Campbell, shared his illustrious 40-year engineering journey, spanning from his early technical experiences to his current role leading CESA. Reflecting on the earlier days of his career, Chris remarked, “We didn’t have the luxury of technology back then to render images, so anyone who could sketch something that helped you visualise better was invaluable.”

The webinar shed light on the challenges and advancements in engineering throughout the decades. Topics included the evolution of 3D drawing techniques and navigating engineering landscapes with limited technological resources compared to today’s standards.

Key discussions and career advice highlighted the importance of leveraging technology for engineering tasks and emphasised the critical importance of community involvement in designing practical and impactful infrastructure solutions. Thank you to all our speakers and attendees for your engagement!
