CESA Infrastructure Indaba 2025 to address nation’s developmental priorities
21 February 2025: Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) has announced its annual Infrastructure Indaba, where industry stakeholders will gather to address national development priorities under the theme “Engineering the Future We Want: Mobilising for Sustainable Development.”
Set for 18-19 March 2025, at the Indaba Hotel, Fourways, in Johannesburg, the conference aims to address fundamental needs of infrastructure development in the country while supporting economic growth.
CESA CEO Chris Campbell explains that the Infrastructure Indaba has secured an impressive lineup of participants spanning the entire infrastructure sector. Leading public sector figures, such as the Honourable Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Dean Macpherson, and the Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager’s interim Chief Executive, Moshe Motlohi, amongst others, will share their insights and strategies as keynote speakers at this event. The full programme can be downloaded here.
“This isn’t just about business or professional growth – it’s about the legacy we’re creating,” emphasises Campbell. “When we look at our children and grandchildren, we’re reminded of what’s truly at stake. Our decisions today will determine whether the next generation inherits a functional South Africa where they can thrive. This is why the Indaba is an important platform – it brings the public and private sectors together to help unlock infrastructure development in the county.”
