Our ‘Engineering for Healthcare’ webinar, held on 18 February, provided an exciting platform for knowledge-sharing, discussion, and collaboration across a wide range of engineering disciplines, including biomedical, mechanical, electrical, chemical, materials, and computer engineering. Through insightful presentations and expert talks, the webinar explored how these fields converge to improve patient outcomes and drive innovation in healthcare.

Dr. Gift Mphefu, Pr Eng, Managing Director at Med-TechEngineers and a CESA Board Member, was one of our guest speakers. Joining him was Mladen Poluta, Director at Southern Right HTM Consulting and President-Elect at the Global Clinical Engineering Alliance; and Paul Langer, Technical Director at WSP in London. The session was facilitated by Sphumelelo Dlamini, a skilled civil engineer, who currently works at AECOM within the Transportation Highways division.
