CESA BCE MDP a Vital Step in unlocking Management Skills for Built Environment Leadership

9 March 2026 – Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) secured its largest intake ever, amid unprecedented demand, for its School of Consulting Engineering (SCE) Business of Consulting Engineering Management Development Programme (BCE MDP) for 2026.

This highly specialised programme, aimed at further developing the industry’s next-generation leaders, limits entry to just 30 places annually to ensure exceptional quality and personalised mentorship.

“The programme was fully subscribed well in advance, reflecting a commitment and drive to enhance and increase engineering leadership expertise, amid a deepening infrastructure maintenance crisis and a need to fast track infrastructure delivery to improve economic growth and prosperity,” CESA CEO Chris Campbell highlighted.

Renowned for transforming emerging engineering talent into strategic leaders, CESA’s BCE MDP delivers intensive training across more than 60 critical subjects. The programme further equips consulting engineering and built environment professionals with essential non-technical skills in project delivery, legal and contract law, business and project finance and leadership to fast-track their careers.
