The Practice Notes Webinar – Sustainability Focus
On 16 April, we hosted Mahendren Manicum, MD at Naidu Consulting, who presented on “Sustainability: Engineering a Greener Future and Navigating Decarbonization Strategies in Road Infrastructure.” The session explored current legislation, compliance requirements, and the mitigation and adaptation strategies shaping the industry’s response to climate change, drawing on Manicum’s extensive experience in pavement engineering and sustainable practices.
Mahendren Manicum is also a Fellow at the South African Institution of Civil Engineering & Society for Asphalt Technology.
