CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards demonstrate what’s possible when engineers lead

25 June 2026: As the country seeks to unlock economic growth, improve service delivery and address decades of infrastructure backlog, Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) is once again shining a spotlight on the projects, professionals and partnerships driving meaningful progress through the 2026 CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards, taking place on 20 August 2026 at Vodacom World in Midrand.

The awards are South Africa’s premier platform for recognising consulting engineering excellence and highlighting the critical role the profession plays in delivering the infrastructure that underpins economic growth, investment and improved quality of life.

According to Chris Campbell, CEO of CESA, the awards serve as tangible proof of what is possible when engineering expertise is empowered to lead infrastructure development.

“South Africans do not need bigger promises; they need delivery. Infrastructure must move beyond rhetoric to actionable outcomes that improve lives and livelihoods. The projects and individuals recognised through the CESA Aon Engineering Excellence Awards demonstrate exactly what is possible when engineering expertise is empowered to lead.”

The awards recognise excellence across a diverse range of categories, including projects of all sizes, business performance, mentorship, young professional development and innovation. Together, they showcase the depth of talent, technical expertise and commitment that exists within South Africa’s consulting engineering sector.
