Built Environment Dialogue & Gala Dinner

Our CEO Chris Campbell moderated a panel discussion at the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors’ Built Environment Dialogue & Gala Dinner 2026, held on Friday, 24 July 2026 at the Premier Hotel in Midrand.

The session, titled “Infrastructure at a Crossroads: Can South Africa Deliver in a Constrained Economy?”, brought together leading voices from across the built environment to examine the realities, challenges and opportunities shaping infrastructure delivery in South Africa’s current economic climate.

The panel featured Craig Lemboe from the Bureau for Economic Research (BER), Dr Msizi ka Myeza from the Council for the Built Environment, Mfezeko Gwazube from the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession, Kushinga Kambarami from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and Kabitšane Letsie from the National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC).

The discussion explored the policies, partnerships and investment needed to support and accelerate infrastructure delivery, while considering the broader economic environment in which the sector operates.

We are pleased to contribute to this important industry dialogue and to engage with leaders from across the built environment on the opportunities and challenges shaping South Africa’s infrastructure future.
