YPF Terms of Reference – Forum Structure
- The YPF consists of an Executive Committee (EXCO), National Committee (NC), Regional Committees (RCs) and the Young Professionals (YPs) members.
The aim of these committees is to ensure that the objectives of the YPF are implemented at both regional and national level. Each committee may identify additional roles and / or sub-committees as and when required.
- The YPF primarily rely on the voluntary services of Young Professions (YPs) from CESA member firms and allied organisations.
- All committees are required to appoint individuals to serve in and undertake tasks associated with the following roles: Chairperson, Vice Chairperson/Treasurer, Secretary and Vice Secretary.
- Participation on committees is limited to YPs from CESA member firms for the main positions (Chairperson, Vice Chairperson/Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Secretary).
However, provision has been made for built environment and engineering YPs working in the public and construction sector to participate for other committee roles as identified by EXCO.
- Term of Office in the various committees – EXCO, NC, or RCs members may hold office for a two (2) year term.
- Committees should hold meetings at least four times a year.
- If the Chairperson is absent, the Vice Chairperson or an elected member present should chair the meeting.
